2023-24 EPL Select Preview

Written by Jack Rau for Neon Trading Cards

Mr Jack Rau has written an absolutely fantastic breakdown on the NEW EPL Select Teams - take a read through to see whats to chase!

AFC Bournemouth - Wikipedia

AFC Bournemouth

RC’s: Alex Scott (terrace), Milos Kerkez (mezzanine and select future insert), Semenyo (select future insert)

Case Hits: Alex Scott (Stained Glass)

Field Levels: Dominic Solanke

Autos: Sinisterra, Unal

A nice and compact checklist for the cherries! Alex Scott – owner of one of the more unique prizm cards in 2023-24 – gets a terrace rookie and a case hit stained glass to chase. Fresh off featuring in all of Hungary’s Euro 2024 games and being linked to a big money move (the likes of United rumoured!), left-back Milos Kerkez should get another RC. A couple of autos with Colombian livewire Luis Sinisterra the highlight brightens the chase. Dominic Solanke has an insert and a field level, after his big 19 goal season!

Inserts (veteran): Tavernier, Cook, Solanke

Base others (veteran terrace and mezzanine): Ryan Christie, Marcus Tavernier, Neto, Marcos Senesi, Illia Zabarnyi, Phillip Billing, Justin Kluivert

Arsenal F.C. - Wikipedia

Arsenal

RC’s: Ethan Nwaneri (terrace)

Case Hits (11): Gabriel Jesus (Artistic Impressions), Martin Odegaard (Artistic Impressions + Stained Glass), David Raya (Artistic Impressions), Declan Rice (Stained Glass), Bukayo Saka (Visionary + Stained Glass), Gabriel Martinelli (Stained Glass), William Saliba (Stained Glass), Thierry Henry (Stained Glass), Kai Havertz (Visionary)

Field Levels (6): Saka, Rice, Odegaard, Havertz, Martinelli, Saliba

Autos (7):  Sagna, Wilshere, Robin van Persie, Edu, Alexis Sanchez, Patrick Viera, Ian Wright

A quirk of the checklist has it featuring no patches for Arsenal, although, it is safe to say that gunners fans are more than compensated by a plethora of case hits. That works out to Arsenal owning nearly 14% of the case hits in this product (which somehow isn’t the highest percentage of all clubs)! The usual suspects of Rice, Havertz, Odegaard and Saka feature, but is headlined by a Thierry Henry Stained Glass – which promises to be stunning! Patrick Viera headlines the tight autograph lineup but is well supported by heroes turned villains Robin van Persie and Alexis Sanchez and the legendary Ian Wright. There are 6 field level stars to chase, with a healthy set of inserts to round out a chase-worthy set for Arteta’s men.

Inserts: Raya, Jesus, Saka, Fabio Vieira, Odegaard, Havertz

Base others: Martinelli, Tomiyasu, Saliba, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Jesus, Trossard, Havertz

All-New Aston Villa Logo Revealed - Footy Headlines

Aston Villa

RC’s (3): Jhon Duran (terrace, field, patch, select future and stained glass), Tim Iroegbunam (mezzanine), Morgan Rogers (terrace)

Case Hits (4): Moussa Diaby (Artistic Impressions), Jhon Duran (Stained Glass), Ollie Watkins (Stained Glass), Douglas Luiz (Visionary)

Field Levels (2): Watkins, Dhuran

Autos (3): Moussa Diaby (P/A), Benteke, Albrighton

Patches (9): Douglas Luiz/Diaby (dual), Matty Cash, Boubacar Kamara, John McGinn, Leon Bailey, Emi Martinez, Douglas Luiz, Ezri Konsa, Pau Torres,

Aston Villa were the surprise packets of the season, with Unai Emery’s men qualifying for Tuesday ebenings in the champions league! They have been duly rewarded with four case hits and nine patches, highlighted by a stained glass for their talismanic star Ollie Watkins. Powerful Colmbian youngster Jhon Duran shone in the latter half of the season with some stunning strikes and features heavily with a terrace, field level, patch, insert and stained glass! Moussa Diaby has a cheeky patch auto, whilst Dhuran isn’t the only rookie chase here. Tim Iroegbunam – who has since moved onto Everton in one of those funky PSR compliance deals – gets a mezzanine along with young English forward Morgan Rogers’ terrace, who moved to Villa in the January window. Rogers should have a rookie badge on his and is definitely one to watch, with big wraps on him!

Inserts: Diaby, Watkins, Dhuran, Bailey

Base others: Luiz, Dhuran, Cash, Martinez, Watkins, Bailey, McGinn, DIaby

Brentford F.C. - Wikipedia

Brentford

RC’s: Yehor Yarmoliuk (mezzanine)

Case Hits: Bryan Mbuemo (Visionary)

Field Levels (2): Bryan Mbuemo, Ivan Toney

Autos (2): Mikkel Damsgaard (!!!), Mathias Jensen

The Bees are used to compact defending and even more compact checklists; there is not a massive amount to chase here. 20 year old Ukrainian midfielder Yehor Yarmoliuk might get a rookie badge, having yet to feature in any sets. Undoubtedly, Brentford’s checklist is held up by the indomitable, heroic and supremely talented Mikkel Damsgaard’s pitchside signatures. Pleasingly, the bees do get a case hit with Bryan Mbuemo claiming a visionary. Brentford are likely to be a PC chase here – which is a good thing for avid collectors!

Inserts: Yoanne Wissa, Mbuemo, Jensen, Christian Norgaard

Base others: Jensen, Norgaard, Nathan Collins, Aaron Hickey, Lewis-Potter, Mbuemo, Wissa, Flekken, Henry

Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. - Wikipedia

Brighton

RC’s: Simon Adingra (terrace, artistic impressions, select future), Facundo Buanoanotte (mezzanine), Carlos Baleba (mezzanine, visionary), Bart Verbruggen (terrace), Jan Paul van Hecke (terrace), Jack Hinshelwood (select future)

Case Hits (7): Ansu Fati (Artisitc Impressions), Simon Adingra (Artistic Impressions), Karou Mitoma (Artisitc Impressions + Stained Glass), Evan Ferguson (Visionary + Stained Glass), Carlos Baleba (Visionary)

Field Levels (2): Mitoma, Ansu Fati

Autos (2): Wayne Bridge, Pervis Estupinan

After a somewhat disappointing fizzle to their 2023-24 season, the seagulls can be very pleased with their representation here. Whilst the autographs fall a bit flat and very much overlapping left-back (Wayne Bridge and Pervis Estupinan), Brighton are blessed with seven case hits! Karou Mitoma and Evan Ferguson each get two (both getting the famous stained glass treatment), while rookies Carlos Baleba and Simon Adingra get their own SSP’s. Ansu Fati gets his customary case hit. There promises to be a healthy array of rookies too, headlined by the exciting talents of Adingra and Facundo Buanoanotte. Jan Paul van Hecke and Jack Hinshelwood are two emerging defensive talents that should also get rookie badges.

Inserts: Joao Pedro, Evan Ferguson, Jack Hinshelwood, Adingra, Julio Enciso, Mitoma, Fati, March

Base others: Pedro, March, Mitoma, Fati, Ferguson

Burnley F.C. - Wikipedia

Burnley

RC’s: Mike Tresor (terrace), Josh Cullen (field), Zeki Amdouni (mezzanine, visionary), James Trafford (mezzanine, unstoppable, artistic impressions, auto), Wilson Odobert (terrace), Lyle Foster (terrace), Aaron Ramsey (mezzanine)

Case Hits (2): James Trafford (Artistic Impressions), Zeki Amdouni (Visionary)

Field Levels: Josh Cullen

Autos: James Trafford

Well, at least Burnley will have a lot of rookies; with a good portion of their checklist likely to earn rookie badges, if Prizm is an indicator. James Trafford is probably the highlight player chase of this checklist, with the rookie gloveman earning an artistic impressions case hit to go with his autograph – the solitary Burnley ink in the set. Trafford had a tough season but is well regarded and looks likely to remain in the premier league with the likes of Newcastle very interested. Perhaps surprisingly, the clarets earn a second case hit with Swiss ace – another rookie – Zeki Amdouni having a visionary. Aaron Ramsey (no, not that one!) is highly regarded but has been cruelled by a serious knee injury, if granted a rookie badge, could be a long-term hold and hope.

Inserts: Lyle Foster, Sander Berge, James Trafford

Base others: Jacob Bruun Larsen, Josh Brownhill, Dara O’Shea

Chelsea F.C. - Wikipedia

Chelsea FC

RC’s: Djordje Petrovic (terrace), Deivid Washington (artistic impressions, patch, select future)

Case Hits (6): Frank Lampard (Visionary), Enzo (Visionary + Stained Glass), Mudryk (Artistic Impressions + Stained Glass), Deivid Washington (Artistic Impressions)

Field Levels (6): Palmer, Caicedo, Sterling, Nkunku, Enzo, Mudryk

Autos (10): Mudryk (P/A), Chilwell (P/A), Madueke (P/A); Malouda, Petrescu, Crespo, Anelka, Ballack, Ashley Cole, Carvalho

Patches (13): Enzo/Caicedo (dual), Colwill/Gusto (dual), Mudryk, Enzo, Palmer, Thiago Silva, Washington, James, Caicedo, Jackson, Colwill, Gallagher, Sterling

Chelsea returning to form on this checklist after a very quiet Donruss edition. Lots of chases here with stars of some legendary blues squads of yesteryear like Malouda, Anelka, Ballack and Crespo among 10 autos and Lampard with a Visionary case hit chase to boot! Lots of base including 6 field levels, featuring Cole Palmer for his first Chelsea base cards, after his purely auto chase in Prizm. The iceman himself is among the glutton of patches and inserts too, with the main disappointment being his lack of a case hit. Enzo and Mudryk have field levels, inserts and two case hits each including the stunning stained glass, with the rarely sighted but nicely named rookie Deivid Washington snagging an artistic impression, patch and insert. Lots to chase here!

Inserts: Jackson x2, Sterling, Palmer, Chukwuemeka, Caicedo, Mudryk

Base others: Jackson, Palmer, Colwill, Enzo, Sterling, Mudryk, Nkunku, Gallagher, James

Crystal Palace Logo and symbol, meaning, history, PNG, brand

Crystal Palace

RC’s: Wharton (terrace), Matheus Franca (terrace and stained glass), David Ozoh (select future)

Case Hits (3): Olise (Artistic Impressions), Matheus Franca (Stained Glass), Edouard (Stained Glass)

Field Levels (3): Olise, Eze, Edouard

Autos (2):  Guehi, Sam Johnstone

Palace have a relatively small checklist but could prove to be a fun chase with three likely rookies and three case hits. Adam Wharton is the clear pick having bolted into what could be a winning Euro 2024 squad, albeit only has a terrace base. Flashy Brazilian Matheus Franca was closely followed by a host of clubs before moving at the start of 23/24 for 20 million euros – he is only 20 so has room to redeem himself. This will be one of the last times the magical Michael Olise is a chase for Palace as he departs for the German giants Bayern Munich – he has a field level and case hit artistic impressions here. Marc Guehi has an auto, which is probably more enticing than a Sam Johnstone script. Unfortunately, Ebereichi Eze misses out on a case hit but manages a terrace, field level and insert. David Ozoh holds the record for youngest Palace debutant in the PL era and he gets a select future insert.

Inserts: Edouard, Eze, Jean-Phillipe Mateta

Base others: Mateta, Schlupp, Jordan Ayew, Tyrick Mitchell, Joachim Anderson, Guehi

Everton F.C. - Wikipedia

Everton

RC’s: Lewis Dobbin (terrace), Youssef Chermiti (mezzanine)

Case Hits: Tim Howard (Visionary)

Field Levels: Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Autos: Calvert-Lewin, Arnaut Danjuma

Patches (2): James Garner, Amadou Onana

Everton once again staved off relegation, and with that comes the hope of a better checklist in season 2024/25. It is slim pickings with only 4 autographs and patches combined, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin probably the highlight. There is at least a case hit chase on here with Legendary American gloveman Tim Howard lays claim to a visionary. Youssef Chermitti will don the rookie badge again and has plenty of upside at only 20 years of age. Exciting talent Lewis Dobbin will also be a rookie chase (albeit just a terrace), however, he has recently moved on to Villa.

Inserts: Danjuma, Pickford, Calvert-Lewin

Base others: James Garner, Danjuma, Pickford, Tarkowski, Dwight McNeil, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Calvert-Lewin, Amadou Onana

Fulham F.C. - Wikipedia

Fulham

RC’s: Rodrigo Muniz (terrace)

Case Hits: -

Field Levels: Joao Palhinha

Autos (3): Joao Palhinha, Harrison Reed, Bobby Zamora

Frankly not the finest checklist for Fulham with no case hits or patches. Despite that, Brazilian striker Rodrigo Muniz, who chipped in with 9 league goals and claimed the player of the month award for March, should end up with a rookie. At 23 years of age, Muniz could really raise his profile with a strong follow-up in 2024-25. Joao Palhinha gets his first autos to complement a field level and insert, as he prepares for a big move Bayern Munich! 2009-10 Europa League star Bobby Zamora returns with an auto for the cottagers.

Inserts: Issa Diop, Andreas Pereira

Base others: Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Tosin Adarabioyo, Bernd Leno, Raul Jiminez, Antonee Robinson, Willian, Calvin Bassey

Liverpool F.C. - Wikipedia

Liverpool

RC’s: Jarell Quansah (terrace), Ben Doak (mezzanine, patch, visionary), Jayden Danns (select future)

Case Hits (10): Luis Diaz (Visionary), Ben Doak (Visionary), Diogo Jota (Visionary), Alisson Visionary), Salah (Stained Glass + Artistic Impressions), Szoboszlai (Stained Glass), van Dijk (Stained Glass), Nunez (Artistic Impressions), Gerrard (Artistic Impressions)

Field Levels (6): Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, Virgil van Dijk, Luis Diaz, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister

Autos (6): Michael Owen, Phil Thompson, Glen Johnson, Djibril Cisse, Stevie Nicol, David James

Patches (12): Nunez/Salah (dual), Andy Robertson/Trent Alexander-Arnold (dual), Salah, Gakpo, Nunez, van Dijk, Diaz, Jota, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Harvey Elliot, Doak

Liverpool boast some incredible case hits and patches galore, but are a little light on when it comes to autographs. Michael Owen headlines the six scripts on offer, although it gives another chance for fans to chase their favourite pundit, Stevie Nicol. Among the case hits are three stained glasses (Salah, Szoboszlai and van Dijk) and an alluring Steven Gerrard artistic impressions. Gerrard SSP’s are always popular and go some way to making up for the lack of auto action. Thankfully, there is also plenty of Darwin Nunez, albeit no autos. 18 year old Ben Doak is a solid rookie chase here with a mezzanine, patch and case hit! Fellow rookies Jarell Quansah – who very nearly made the England Euro 2024 squad – and Jayden Danns also feature with a base and insert respectively. As per usual with Liverpool, there are stars across the base, patch and insert checklist to keep you busy!

Inserts: Danns, Jota, Gakpo, van Dijk, Alisson, Mac Allister, Diaz

Base others: Nunez, Diaz, Alisson, Jota x2, Salah, Gakpo, Szoboszlai

Luton Town F.C. - Wikipedia

Luton Town

RC’s: Elijah Adebayo (terrace + insert), Alfie Doughty (mezzanine), Carlton Morris (mezzanine, field, insert), Tom Lockyer, Amari’I Bell (terrace, auto)

Case Hits: -

Field Levels (1): Carlton Morris

Autos (2): Amari’i Bell, Andros Townsend

Luton Town didn’t manage to secure their premier league safety, but won the consolation prize of a special place in our hearts with their underdog story. Unfortunately, their checklist won’t be winning any prizes for size or creativity. This does boast the novelty of being from Luton’s first season in England’s first division though! The two autos available are Amari’I Bell and Andros Townsend, with no patches or case hits. There are a lot of likely ‘rookies’ to chase here, however, most aren’t particularly young. Alfie Doughty and Elijah Adebayo are two of whom that may earn a move to stay in the PL – with Doughty impressing all with his work-rate and creativity.

Inserts: Albert Sambi-Lokonga, Teden Mengi

Base others: Lokonga, Barkley, Issa Kabore, Chiedozie Ogbene, Kaminski

Manchester City F.C. - Wikipedia

Manchester City

RC’s: Oscar Bobb (terrace, patch, select future, visionary)

Case Hits (13): Ederson (Stained Glass), Rodri (Stained Glass), Ruben Dias (Stained Glass), Erling Haaland (Stained Glass + Artistic Impressions), Julian Alvarez (Stained Glass + Artistic Impressions), Phil Foden (Visionary + Artistic Impressions), Kevin De Bruyne (Visionary), Jack Grealish (Visionary), Jeremy Doku (Visionary), Oscar Bobb (Visionary)

Field Levels (5): De Bruyne, Foden, Haaland, Alvarez, Grealish

Autos (8): Haaland (P/A), De Bruyne (P/A), Micah Richards, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Sergio Aguero, Claudio Reyna, Edin Dzeko, Shaun Goater

Patches (13): Haaland/Alvarez (dual), Rodri/Nunes (dual), Haaland, De Bruyne, Rico Lewis, Alvarez, Grealish, Ruben Dias, Bobb, Bernardo Silva, Doku, Kyle Walker, Rodri

Business as usual for the City-zens who again boast one of the top checklists in this product. Erling Haaland will be a major chase again with a patch autograph taking its place alongside a stained glass, artistic impressions and more for the Norwegian star. City are so well represented in the case hit field – they own 16% of the case hits in the set themselves! Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez have two case hits each and Oscar Bobb gives the champions a rookie chase with patches, base, insert and visionary case hit. A total of thirteen patches – including two duals – is complemented by eight autographs. Apart from the big boy Haaland, City legend and 2012 hero Sergio Aguero is the pick of the bunch! It would be a shock if this didn’t prove to be a big chase for City die-hards.

Inserts: Gvardiol, Bobb, Lewis, Alvarez, Haaland, Doku, Ederson

Base others: Foden, Silva, Doku, Dias, Haaland, Rodri, Grealish, De Bruyne, Alvarez

Manchester United F.C. - Wikipedia

Manchester United

RC’s: Kobbie Mainoo (terrace, patch), Willy Kambwala (terrace)

Case Hits (9): Bruno Fernandes (Artistic Impressions + Stained Glass), Marcus Rashford (Artistic Impressions + Stained Glass), Alejandro Garnacho (Visionary + Stained Glass), David Beckham (Stained Glass), Mason Mount (Visionary), Rasmus Hojlund (Artistic Impressions)

Field Levels (2): Bruno Fernandes, Rashford

Autos (15):  Hojlund (P/A), John O’Shea, Jaap Stam, Gary Neville, Wayne Rooney, Bryan Robson, Nani, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Patrice Evra, Andre Onana, Harry Maguire, Giggs, Ibrahimovic, Nicky Butt, Beckham

Patches (13): Rashford/Fernandes (dual), Garnacho/Hojlund (dual), Hojlund, Rashford, Fernandes, Garnacho, Mount, Onana, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Mainoo, Eriksen, McTominay

Manchester United may not have had the season they desired, their FA Cup victory appears to have earnt them not only Europa League qualification, but checklist dominance. Chasing a mammoth 9 case hits – including a David Beckham stained glass – and 13 patches, United have a mouth-watering checklist. Did I mention that they also boast 15 autos including Hojlund patch autos, Rooney, Bryan Robson, Beckham and the great Slabhead to name a few. Most impressively though, is the first Zlatan Ibrahimovic United autographs! There are not a huge amount of Ibra autos out there, so this is a simply massive chase. But yet, there’s more: Kobbie Mainoo only boasts a terrace and patch, but the teenager is one of the most popular rookie chases as he continues his influential form for club and country. Willy Kambwala gives United another rookie to chase, alongside a stack of veteran base across base and insert sets.

Inserts: Scott McTominay, Antony, Rashford, Mount, Holjund, Garnacho, Fernandes

Base others: Fernandes, Mount, Onana, Rashford, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Holjund

Newcastle United F.C. - Wikipedia

Newcastle United

RC’s: Lewis Miley (terrace, select future, auto)

Case Hits (5): Bruno Guimaraes (Artistic Impressions), Alan Shearer (Artistic Impressions), Alexander Isak (Stained Glass), Anthony Gordon (Visionary), Callum Wilson (Visionary)

Field Levels (3): Bruno Guimaraes, Alexander Isak, Anthony Gordon

Autos (10): Miley, Joelinton, Chris Waddle, Shay Given, Fabian Schar, Les Ferdinand, Harvey Barnes, Bruno Guimaraes, Mark Viduka, Craig Bellamy

Newcastle United bring forward a strong checklist in Select with their zero patches cause for little concern. One of the season’s big rookie chases, Lewis Miley features again, with a terrace, select future insert and an autograph – these will surely be well received. Newcastle legend Alan Shearer gets an artistic impressions case hit which is one of 5 to chase; headlined by an Alexander Isak stained glass. Bruno Guimaraes is very well represented here and gets his first toon autograph alongside a case hit (and a plethora of base and inserts). Aussies will love to see one of our great exports, Mark Viduka get another autograph, among the ten on offer for the magpies.

Inserts: Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes, Miley, Isak, Callum Wilson

Base others: Isak, Miguel Almiron, Trippier, Nick Pope, Bruno Guimaraes, Wilson, Gordon, Dan Burn, Sven Botman

Nottingham Forest - Club profile | Transfermarkt

Nottingham Forest

RC’s: Murillo (terrace)

Case Hits: -

Field Levels: Morgan Gibbs-White

Autos: Gibbs-White, Stan Collymore

Not a lot of love for Forest from Panini this time around. Emerging defender Murillo has been a revelation for Forest since arriving from Corinthians in 2023 and played a huge part in securing their safety – he has been linked to a move to clubs such as Chelsea and Real Madrid – and should get a rookie badge. Stan Collymore is a nice auto chase which harks back to days of old, and complements their only other autograph, current talisman Morgan Gibbs-White. Fans may have liked to see the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi or Ryan Yates – but with a squad like Forest’s, someone’s gunna miss out!

Inserts: Gibbs-White, Taiwo Awoniyi, Elanga, Turner

Base others: Chris Wood, Nicolas Dominguez, Elanga, Montiel, Danilo, Gibbs-White, Gio Reyna, Matt Turner, Taiwo Awoniyi

 Sheffield United F.C. - Wikipedia

Sheffield United

RC’s: Gustavo Hamer (mezzanine), William Osula (select future), Anel Ahmedhodzic (mezzanine and field)

Case Hits: -

Field Levels: Anel Ahmedhodzic

Autos (6): Oliver Norwood, James McAtee, Cameron Archer, Jack Robinson, Dean Saunders, Chris Kamara

Sheffield United had another short stay in the prem, although at least they’ve got some ink circulating after this release. Cameron Archer didn’t have the rookie badge for Prizm, so likely misses here, as he had an insert in Score 2022-23 (yep, that was a thing); regardless, this set will see his first licenced autos and one of his first bases. Aside from Archer, the blades have a healthy six autographs to chase including some vintage stars in Dean Saunders and Chris Kamara. Gustavo Hamer had an impressive season and will likely court interest from premier league clubs; he holds a rookie mezzanine. Outside of that, there may be a few surprise rookie badges for some of the older players.

Inserts: Archer, McAtee, McBurnie, William Osula

Base others: Vinicius Souza, Auston Trusty, Ivo Grbic, Jayden Bogle, Cameron Archer, Norwood, McBurnie, McAtee, Ahmedhodzic

file:Tottenham Hotspur.png - Wikipedia

Tottenham Hotspur

RC’s: Micky van de Ven (mezzanine, artistic impressions, select future, patch)

Case Hits (4): Heung-Min Son (Stained Glass + Visionary), Micky van de Ven (Artistic Impressions), James Maddison (Artistic Impressions)

Field Levels (2): Heung-Min Son, James Maddison

Autos (7): Heung-Min Son (P/A), Micky van de Ven (P/A), Manor Solomon, Destiny Udogie, Darren Anderton, Glenn Hoddle, Teddy Sheringham

Patches (13): Son/Maddison (dual), Maddison, Son, Udogie, Kulusevski, Richarlison, van de Ven, Pedro Porro, Brennan Johnson, Pape Matar Sarr, Christian Romero, Vicario, Yves Bissouma

Ange’s Spurs hold up pretty well here, with a nice spread of chases. Micky van de Ven and his blistering pace is a known quantity and will once again be a popular rookie – he has an SSP to chase here alongside the usual base, inserts and patch. Most impressively he also lays claim to a patch auto, like livewire and hobby favourite Heung-Min Son. As per usual, Sonny is all over the checklist with a couple of case hits and more to chase. James Maddison rounds out the case hits for Spurs and is represented throughout the set. Teddy Sheringham and Glenn Hoddle come to the party too as vintage autograph chases.

Inserts: Son, Richarlison, Kulusevski, van de Ven, Maddison,

Base others: Udogie, Vicario, Son, Kulsevski, Romero, Bissouma, Maddison, Richarlison, Emerson Royal

File:West Ham United FC logo.svg - Wikipedia

West Ham United

RC’s: Divin Mubama (terrace)

Case Hits: Jarrod Bowen (Stained Glass)

Field Levels (2): Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen

Autos (2): Tony Cottee, Harry Redknapp

Patches (12): Ward-Prowse, Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen, Soucek, Zouma, Phillips, Aguerd, Antonio, Edson Alvarez, Coufal, Emerson Palmieri

West Ham have quite the unique checklist – very little in terms of case hits and autos – with a huge amount of patches and not much else. That said, what they do have promises to be a bit of fun. Jarrod Bowen is rewarded for another fine season with a stained glass and field level on top of the usual base and inserts. Mohammed Kudus misses out on an SSP or auto, but does come away with a patch. One of the more intriguing autographs on the checklist is Harry Redknapp who features here. Redknapp is a cult figure and is proper Barclays! Divin Mubama is the only rookie here, but he has recently been released and looking for a new club.

Inserts: Bowen, Ward-Prowse, Kudus, Paqueta

Base others: Paqueta, Ward-Prowse, Aguerd, Areola, Bowen, Soucek, Antonio, Zouma, Kudus

File:Wolverhampton Wanderers.svg - Wikipedia

Wolverhampton Wanderers

RC’s: Joao Gomes (mezzanine, select future, patch, visionary)

Case Hits (2): Joao Gomes (Visionary), Pedro Neto (Stained Glass)

Field Levels (2): Matheus Cunha, Hee-chan Hwang

Autos (6): Matheus Cunha (P/A), Tommy Doyle, Rui Patricio, Craig Dawson, Daniel Bentley, Steve Bull

Patches (8): Pedro Neto, Hwang, Kilman, Lemina, Cunha, Ait-Nouri, Joao Gomes, Nelson Semedo

One of the surprisingly stern teams from last season, Wolves have a medium-sized checklist that presents a few chases for collectors. Pedro Neto is rewarded for his electric season with a stained glass and may eventually earn a big move. Matheus Cunha impressed with 19 goals and assists in the league and is the highlight of the ink, with his patch autograph a fun chase. Joao Gomes is the real upside one here though. Now a Brazilian international, the young midfielder has become a key for Wolves and is attracting plenty of attention. Gomes has a mezzanine, insert, patch and visionary case hit. Non-rookie youngster Tommy Doyle also notably has an autograph, after making his loan spell from Manchester City permanent.

Inserts: Cunha, Joao Gomes, Hee-chan Hwang, Jose Sa, Pedro Neto

Base others: Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Jose Sa, Toti, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Pedro Neto, Max Kilman, Matheus Cunha, Hee-chan Hwang, Mario Lemina
